Day 52 - Homeward bound!

It's been a wonderful 8 week trip but all good things must come to an end. The 3am wake up call this morning wasn't the greatest way to start the day but it was worth it knowing we were heading home. A quick 1 hour flight from Nice to Paris was followed by a 7 hour flight to Toronto. Aunt Jo was there waiting for us to chauffeur us home (and we didn't even have to negotiate with her :).

Day 51 - Nice is nice!

We headed for Nice for our last day in France. Nice has a waterfront cycle/rollerblade path the runs the full length of the beach. Nice is nice but the beach is not! Not sure why the beach is so famous - no sand - only very uncomfortable rocks.

We ended out day in Cagnes sur Mer (between Nice and Antibes) and found a nice restaurant along the waterfront for our final dinner. The weather has been nothing short of perfect this week - warm sun all day, everyday without the humidity. We all agreed this is our kind of weather!

Day 50 - Goodbye Antibes

Unfortunately our week was up at our Antibes apartment. It was nice to settle in one place for more than a night or two. The location was excellent - near the school and halfway between the Old Town of Antibes and Juan Le Pins.
