Day 34 - All day bus to Bangkok

We spent the whole day travelling from Siem Reap, Cambodia to Bangkok, Thailand. A large bus took us to the Cambodian/Thailand border crossing. We were dumped near the Passport control, had to pass Cambodian border patrol before walking across the border with the locals. On the Thai side we had to go through their Passport control before hopping on the back of a pick up truck that took us to our mini-bus that would take us to Bangkok. The 4 hour journey on the mini-bus turned into a 6 hour trip. The mini-bus driver abruptly stopped in the middle of busy road, the doors swung open and our luggage was placed on the sidewalk next to abondoned cars and a bunch of obnoxiously taxi drivers who wanted to charge ridiculus prices to get to your hotel. Unfortunately we lost our mini laptop here! After a crazy long travel day we enjoyed a nice swim in the giant swimming pool at our hotel!

Our driver took numerous stops including one to watch TV!
