Day 7 - KL City

We woke early but enjoyed a poolside breakfast before heading out  for the day. We walked to Petronas Twin Towers hoping to buy a ticket to the observation deck but they were sold out of the day. We continued on to Menara Tower, the “other” tower, which appears to be taller but is actually built on a hill so technically it is shorter than KLCC.

Shopping in the Chinese market was fun but the constant pressure to buy eventually wore us down. Adam headed for shelter from the heat, Charlee declared she had had enough and we headed back to Liesbet and Steve’s for a swim.
Once Liesbet and family returned from school/work we all sat down to enjoy an authentic Malay dinner.

We had dinner Friday night at Liesbet and Steve's. The meal was called Nasi Lemak - a combination of coconut rice, tiny fish, peanuts, and boiled eggs with a chilli paste known as sambal. Awesome!

they did back at UWO!
